The first volume of Unforgettable Encounters is a compilation of 30
marvellous essays written by SGI President Ikeda. Each essay is a reflection
on his encounter with an eminent public figure from around the world:
presidents and prime ministers; musicians, writers and artists; thinkers,
activists and academicians; scientists and sportspersons.
With particular emphasis, President Ikeda recounts the turning point in their
lives which tumultuously carried each of them towards a passionate belief in
the dignity of all life.
